Installation for SAP HANA DB 2.0
I will explain installation of SAP HANA DB 2.0.
- Download the software of SAP HANA DB 2.0 form SAP Marketplace.
First go to the SAP Software Download Center. To connect to the URL below, you need to have a Service Market Place access ID starting with S000 * to download the necessary software.

Download location can be downloaded by following path.
SAP IN-MEMORY (SAP HANA ) > HANA PLATFORM EDITION > SAP HANA PLATFORM EDITION > SAP HANA PLATFORM EDIT. 2.0 > INSTALLATION
Download to HANA 2.0 SPS00.
- Extract the downloaded HANA DB file.
Unzip x 51051635_park1.exe to uncompress it.
- There are two ways to install HANA DB. There are GUI mode and command line installation method.
You can run ./hdblcmgui in GUI mode and ./hdblcm in Command Line.
1)Run ./hdblcm to run as Command Line
2)Select 1 to select Install new system.
3)To install Server, Client, Smartda, Studio, choose 4, 5, 6, 7
4)Enter basic information. Host name, SID: HVD, and so on.
5)Select 1 number of Single_container .
Here, in the case of single_container, there is one server, and the number of servers is plural
Select Multiple_containers to select multiple_containers for 4 nodes
6) Enter the basic installation location of HANA DB.
Data Area : /hana/data/HVD
Log Area : /hana/log/HVD
7)Enter the SYSTEM account password.
When you install XS Advanced Admin, it basically decides whether to connect to Port or Hostname.
8)Finally, ask if you want to change anything, and type Y to ask if this is the case.
9)This is the screen where the installation progresses and the final installation is completed.
10)Make sure the process is running normally with Command HDB info or Command HDB proc.
