Installation for SAP S/4 HANA 1709 On Premise
The development process of SAP products is R/2 (Real time, 2 tier), R/3 (Real time, 3 tier) and SAP ERP 2004. And S/4 HANA is released in March 2015.

- The method I try to install is to install HANA DB 2.0 and S / 4 HANA 1709 in the same physical space for one physical H / W.
Here, the S / 4 HANA that I want to install is the one to install HANA DB and S / 4 HANA together on One Server (one H / W).
- Hardware We will install S / 4 HANA from HANA DB on one server (H / W).
3-1) After decompressing, run sapinst to start installing SAP S / 4 HANA 1709.
3-2)As the version of Software Provision Manager is upgraded, the option to install it as a Web browser is configured by default.
3-3)The previous method is to install SAPINST using Linux’s JAVA.
Add the SAPINST_SLP_MODE = false option to the sapinst command.

4) SAP S / 4 HANA is actually starting screen.

4-2)Select Custom and start the installation.
4-3) Enter the SID of the SAP S / 4 HANA.
4-4)Enter the information for DNS.
4-5)When importing a large amount of HANA, enter “HDB_MASSIMPORT = YES” in environment variable of user sidadm in environment variable and import data.
4-6) Enter the HAN DB SID, Instance Number and System password.
4-7) Download S / 4 HANA Kernel, input the downloaded location information and click “Next”.
4-8) If the host agent has a lower version, it will be updated.

4-9)HANA Client is installed in a central location or on each Application Server (PAS). In general, select Local Client Directory and install it. In this case, if there are multiple application servers (PAS, AAS), HANA Client is installed in each AAS (Additional Application Server).
4-10) Enter the client path of HANA DB.
4-11) S / 4 Enter the Export directory path for HANA 1709.
4-12) Enter the password of Instance Nubmer and Administrator of SAP HANA DB.
4-13)Enter the password information of the Database account (SAPABAP1, DBACOCKPIT) used by the S / 4 HANA Instance (this is the first time you enter the Master password and the password is automatically entered)
4-14)Here you will be prompted to modify the parameter suggesting HANA DB memory usage.
By modifying the global_allocation_limit value of the HANA parameter, you can set the amount of memory (global_allocation_limit) that HANA DB can use to the maximum amount of physical memory of OS so that HANA DB can restrict the use of more memory Enter the value.
4-16) When the data of S / 4 HANA is imported, the parameter values of HANA DB are modified so that it can be imported sooner. If you modify here, the parameter value of HANA DB is changed.
You can change the time (seconds) to write to disk faster by changing the time to savepoint the data to disk, such as savepoint_interval.
4-16) This is called the database table layout in SAP Netweaver 7.5. It is called an option in Netweaver 7.4.
4-17) Enter the Instance Number: 00, ASCS: 01 of S / 4 HANA.
4-18) In the option to select the System Landscape Directory (SLD), if you are configuring Solution Manager as SLD, you can enter the information in Solution Manager.
