Installation of Language for S / 4 HANA is the same as ERP 6.0. When SAP releases S / 4 HANA to customers, install the language you want to use in order to use additional languages ​​(spanish, French, Chinese, etc.) while English and German are installed by default.

Let me explain what you need to do after installation of SAP S/4 HANA.

1.This is an additional language installation besides English and German, which is provided by SAP S/4 HANA.

Transaction Code : I18N or Transaction SE38 -> RSCPINST

2.Select “Add Language” button to add Korean Language.

3.Activate the added Korean language.

4.Add “3” Korean Language code to SAP’s Start Profile.

The number “3” can be found in the SAP Table.

Check the language contents in SE11 -> T002 Table .

5..Only the SAP Instance performs a restart. Database does not start.

6.You are now ready to install your existing Korean Language.

Transaction Code: SMLT will install the language in the following order.

– Classify the language

– Schedule the language transport

– Schedule the language supplementation

Note that you must enter Korean in the General section.

Then type English in the Supplementation section.

This means supplementing English with Supplementation, which is a part of General that can not translate all sentences into Korean when it comes to Korean.

Since all sentences can not be translated into Korean, the part that is not translated means that it is complemented by English. I do not supplement it in English here, but I can not translate Korean part in Chinese.

7.Now click on the Import button to start Importing Korean Language.

Import has now completed successfully and is now green.

Sometimes, depending on the version of SAP ERP, a yellow may be displayed. At this time, please do it once again and check the contents of the log to see if it is not translated.

8.Next, as a supplementation language, this means that you can not substitute Korean for all the menu items of SAP, and that you want to replace English with supplementation.

In other words, it would be better to display the contents of the SAP package (menu, button, description, error message, etc.) in Korean, but it is difficult to find it in Korean. So, what is not displayed in Korean is the setting part that makes it come out in English instead of Korean.

Basically, you choose to supplement the cross-client table, which corresponds to tables that belong to the Client, for example Print related settings.

You also need to supplement the Client Specific Table. Here we have company code, storage location, sales organization, and so on.
